Common questions

A few things we get asked.

Don't see your question? Send us a note — we'd rather hear from you than leave you guessing.

Do I need an appointment to come in?

+
No appointment needed. Walk in any day we're open (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri — 10:00 to 2:00) and we'll get you a shower, a hot lunch, or whatever you came for.

Is there a cost for services?

+
Everything we offer is free. There is no fee, no paperwork, no requirement of any kind to use any service.

How can I volunteer?

+
Send us a note using the form above, or email us directly. We have shifts in the kitchen, the clothing closet, the laundry room, and at the front desk — and we always need help sorting incoming donations.

Can I drop off donations any time?

+
During open hours is best — that way we can unload your car and give you a receipt. For very large donations (a truckload of goods, a furniture pickup), please call ahead so we can plan storage.

Are donations tax-deductible?

+
Yes — Agape is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Monetary donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, and we can provide an in-kind receipt for goods donations on request.

Where can I learn more about the organization?

+
Read our about page, follow us on Facebook for day-to-day updates, or come by and visit. We're glad to give a quick tour and answer any questions.
